  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SNCG, or Synuclein Gamma, is a member of the synuclein protein family, primarily expressed in the brain and involved in neuronal development and differentiation. Research on SNCG has gained momentum due to its association with neurodegenerative diseases, particularly its elevated expression in certain tumors, leading to its consideration as a potential biomarker for various cancers. The interest in SNCG is further fueled by the understanding of its role in synaptic function, neurotransmitter release, and its interactions with cellular membranes. Recent studies have indicated that SNCG may contribute to the pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease and other synucleinopathies, making it a compelling target for therapeutic intervention. The characterization of SNCG as a recombinant protein serves multiple purposes: it allows for the detailed study of its structure-function relationships, the elucidation of its biological role in cellular models, and the potential development of targeted treatments. Through the reconstitution of SNCG in various experimental systems, researchers are unraveling its mechanistic pathways, paving the way for future innovations in both cancer and neurodegenerative disease treatments, as well as enhancing our understanding of synuclein family proteins' overall role in human health and disease. This synthesis of basic and applied research underscores the significance of SNCG as a pivotal player in cellular processes and highlights the need for continued exploration in the realms of neuroscience and oncology.
