简介
The MAPKSP1 protein, also known as porphobilinogen deaminase (HMBS), is crucial in the heme biosynthetic pathway and catalyzes the sequential polymerization of four porphobilinogen molecules to form hydroxymethyl bixane. The process begins with the assembly of the dipyrromethane cofactor of porphobilinogen or preuroporphyrinogen. MAPKSP1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived MAPKSP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAPKSP1 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Suppressor 1) is a key regulator of various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and stress responses. It is an integral component of the MAPK signaling pathway, which is crucial for transmitting signals from cell surface receptors to intracellular targets. The dysregulation of MAPKSP1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and inflammatory disorders, making it a significant molecule of interest in biomedical research. Recombinant MAPKSP1 protein has been studied extensively to understand its structural and functional properties, interactions with other proteins, and its role in modulating MAPK signaling cascades. Such studies have utilized techniques like protein expression, purification, and functional assays, providing insights into its mechanisms of action and potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, the ability to produce recombinant MAPKSP1 in sufficient quantities facilitates advanced research applications, including drug discovery and the development of targeted therapies aimed at restoring normal signaling pathways disrupted in disease states. Understanding MAPKSP1’s functional roles at the molecular level continues to be crucial for uncovering its contributions to cell biology and for developing innovative strategies to combat diseases linked with MAPK pathway abnormalities.
