Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PADI3, or peptidylarginine deiminase type 3, is an important enzyme involved in the post-translational modification of proteins. It catalyzes the conversion of arginine residues in proteins to citrulline, a process known as citrullination, which can significantly affect protein function and interactions. Research into PADI3 has gained traction due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases, particularly in the context of autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. The enzyme is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly in the skin and bladder, and plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression and cell signaling pathways. Studies have also suggested that PADI3 may be involved in the differentiation of keratinocytes and the formation of the skin barrier. Given its significant role in modulating protein function and its involvement in pathological conditions, PADI3 is emerging as a potential therapeutic target. Understanding the mechanisms of PADI3 action could provide insights into disease mechanisms and pave the way for novel treatments that can manipulate citrullination processes in various conditions, from skin diseases to neurodegenerative disorders. As such, the investigation of PADI3 and its associated pathways is critical for advancing our knowledge of protein regulation and its effects on health and disease.
