简介
The ROBO1 protein is a receptor for SLIT1 and SLIT2 and plays a key role in cellular responses during migration, including axonal navigation and projection. Interaction with FLRT3 promotes axonal attraction to NTN1-expressing cells. ROBO1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived ROBO1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ROBO1 (Roundabout guidance receptor 1) is a member of the Robo family of receptors, primarily known for its crucial role in guiding neuronal axons during development by mediating repulsive interactions with the Slit family of ligands. This receptor is integral to the development of the central nervous system and influences various processes such as neuronal positioning, branching, and synaptic formation. Aberrant expressions and mutations in ROBO1 have been associated with several neurological disorders and cancers, highlighting its significance in both developmental biology and clinical research. The study of ROBO1 recombinant protein has gained attention, as it offers a means to dissect the signaling pathways involved in neuronal guidance and to develop potential therapeutic strategies targeting ROBO1-mediated pathways. By producing and purifying ROBO1 recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its structure-function relationships, interaction with Slit ligands, and downstream signaling mechanisms. Furthermore, understanding the dynamics of ROBO1 interactions could provide insights into neurodevelopmental disorders and tumor biology, paving the way for innovative treatments and interventions. Overall, the research on ROBO1 recombinant protein is pivotal for advancing our knowledge of neurodevelopmental processes and addressing associated pathologies.
