简介
B3GNT6 protein is an important β-1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase, which is essential for the synthesis of O-glycan core 3 structure, and O-glycan is required for mucin-type glycoprotein biosynthesis. Required. B3GNT6 plays a critical role in digestive organs and contributes significantly to the structural diversity and functional properties of glycoconjugates. B3GNT6 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived B3GNT6 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with N-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
B3GNT6, or Beta-1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 6, is a crucial enzyme involved in the synthesis of complex glycans, specifically poly-LacNAc (polylactosamine) structures on glycoproteins and glycolipids. These glycan structures are essential for various biological processes, including cell signaling, adhesion, and immune responses. Dysregulation of B3GNT6 has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancers, where altered glycosylation patterns can affect tumor progression and metastasis. Recent studies have highlighted the role of B3GNT6 in modulating the tumor microenvironment and influencing cancer cell behavior. Additionally, B3GNT6 has shown potential as a biomarker for certain diseases, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the structure and function of the B3GNT6 recombinant protein can provide insights into its enzymatic activity and regulatory mechanisms, paving the way for novel strategies in cancer treatment and other diseases associated with glycosylation abnormalities. Research on B3GNT6 not only enriches our knowledge of glycosylation processes but also contributes to the development of diagnostic and therapeutic tools that leverage glycan-modulating strategies.
