简介
DCBLD2 Protein is a novel platelet membrane receptor that recruits TRAF6 through EGFR phosphorylation and stimulates AKT to promote tumorigenesis. The DCBLD2 Protein has multiple functions during development as well as in vascular and tumor biology, such as influencing cell proliferation and tumorigenesis. DCBLD2 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived DCBLD2 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DCBLD2, or Discoidin Domain Containing Receptor 2, is a member of the discoidin domain receptor family of tyrosine kinases, which play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation. Research into DCBLD2 has gained momentum due to its implicated role in several pathological conditions, including cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Unlike other receptor tyrosine kinases, DCBLD2 is characterized by its unique discoidin domain that binds to collagen, suggesting a specialized role in the interaction with the extracellular matrix. Recent studies have highlighted the potential of DCBLD2 in mediating cellular responses to the microenvironment, indicating its involvement in tumor progression and metastasis. Moreover, aberrations in DCBLD2 signaling pathways may contribute to the development of fibrosis and other diseases characterized by dysregulated tissue repair processes. Thus, understanding the molecular mechanisms by which DCBLD2 operates is essential for identifying therapeutic targets and improving treatment strategies for related disorders. As researchers delve deeper into its function, DCBLD2 is positioned as a critical biomarker and target for innovative therapeutic interventions, making it a focal point in cellular and molecular biology, as well as in biomedical research.
