简介
HER3 is a tyrosine-protein kinase that is a key cell surface receptor for neuregulin. ErbB2 and ErbB3 can form dimers and activate signaling pathways including MAPK, PI3K/Akt and PLC纬 to promote tumor development. HER3 Protein, Rat (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant rat-derived HER3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HER3 (human epidermal growth factor receptor 3) is a member of the ErbB receptor family, playing a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, survival, and differentiation. Despite its importance in normal physiology, HER3 is often implicated in various cancers, particularly as a dimerization partner with other ErbB family members, such as HER2, leading to tumorigenesis and treatment resistance. The study of recombinant HER3 proteins has gained significant attention for their potential applications in targeted therapies and diagnostics. By investigating HER3's structure and function, researchers aim to develop novel therapeutic strategies, including monoclonal antibodies and small molecule inhibitors that specifically disrupt HER3 signaling. Furthermore, elucidating the interactions of HER3 with other proteins can enhance our understanding of its role in cancer biology and resistance mechanisms. Recombinant HER3 proteins can also be used in biomarker discovery, enabling the identification of patient populations that may benefit from HER3-targeted therapies. Overall, research on recombinant HER3 not only offers insights into its contributions to cancer but also presents opportunities for developing innovative treatment modalities that can improve patient outcomes in HER3-enriched malignancies.
