  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CRMP-1 (Collapsin Response Mediator Protein 1) is a member of the CRMP family, known for its critical role in neuronal development and signaling pathways. As a phosphoprotein, CRMP-1 regulates microfilament dynamics, neuronal differentiation, and growth cone guidance, making it essential in axon growth and the establishment of neural networks. Abnormal expression or function of CRMP-1 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. Due to its significant involvement in neurodevelopmental processes, CRMP-1 has garnered attention as a potential therapeutic target. The development of recombinant CRMP-1 proteins facilitates the study of its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular contexts. Additionally, understanding its structure and signaling pathways can provide insights into the molecular underpinnings of related pathologies. Consequently, research on CRMP-1 recombinant proteins not only enhances our knowledge of neuronal behavior but also aids in the discovery of novel intervention strategies for neurological diseases.
