Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Protein Description
The HIST1H2BM gene encodes a variant of histone H2B, a core component of nucleosomes, which play a critical role in the structural organization of DNA within the cell nucleus. Histones are fundamental to the processes of gene regulation, DNA packaging, and chromatin remodeling, making them instrumental in various cellular functions, including transcription, replication, and repair. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of specific histone modifications in epigenetic regulation, influencing cellular differentiation and development. HIST1H2BM, specifically, has garnered attention due to its implications in various diseases, including cancer, where aberrations in histone gene expression can lead to dysregulation of gene activity and chromatin structure. Research on recombinant HIST1H2BM protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional properties, explore its interactions with other proteins, and assess its role in epigenetic modifications. By studying this histone variant, scientists hope to gain insights into the complex regulatory mechanisms underlying gene expression and chromatin dynamics, potentially leading to novel therapeutic approaches for diseases associated with epigenetic alterations. Additionally, understanding the biochemical pathways involving HIST1H2BM can provide a clearer picture of its contributions to cellular processes, further emphasizing the importance of histones in maintaining genomic integrity and regulating cellular homeostasis. This research area continues to expand as advanced techniques in molecular biology and biochemistry offer new avenues to investigate the multifaceted roles of histones in health and disease.
