简介
ETS1/EWSR2 Protein, a transcription factor, directly regulates cytokine and chemokine gene expression in diverse cellular contexts. It controls lymphoid cell differentiation, survival, and proliferation, possibly impacting angiogenesis by regulating genes controlling endothelial cell migration and invasion. Additionally, it acts as a dominant-negative for isoform c-ETS-1A. ETS1/EWSR2 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived ETS1/EWSR2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ETS1 and EWSR2 are two critical proteins implicated in various biological processes and diseases, particularly in cancer. ETS1, a member of the ETS transcription factor family, plays a pivotal role in regulating gene expression involved in cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Its dysregulation has been associated with numerous malignancies, including leukemia and solid tumors. On the other hand, EWSR2, often involved in chromosomal translocations leading to fusion proteins, is known for its role in oncogenic processes, particularly in Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive pediatric cancer. The EWSR1 gene can form fusion proteins with ETS family members, such as FLI1 and ERG, disrupting normal cellular functions and promoting tumorigenesis. Research focusing on the structural and functional characterization of ETS1 and EWSR2 provides insight into their roles in cancer development and progression. Understanding the intricate mechanisms of these proteins at the molecular level could facilitate the identification of novel therapeutic targets, ultimately leading to more effective treatment strategies for patients suffering from ETS-related malignancies. The study of ETS1 and EWSR2 not only sheds light on their individual contributions to cancer biology but also highlights the importance of the interplay between transcription factors and genetic aberrations in the pathogenesis of tumors.
