Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Wnt8b is a member of the Wnt family of signaling proteins, known for their critical roles in development, cell differentiation, and tissue homeostasis. It functions as a ligand in the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, which is essential for various biological processes, including embryogenesis, stem cell maintenance, and tumorigenesis. Research has indicated that Wnt8b plays significant roles in the regulation of cell fate decisions and organ development, particularly in the context of vertebrate embryology. Its involvement in various diseases, including cancer, makes it an important target for therapeutic interventions. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of Wnt8b's action can shed light on its potential applications in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. Recent studies have focused on the production and characterization of recombinant Wnt8b protein to facilitate high-throughput assays and structural analyses. This research aims to elucidate the functional roles of Wnt8b in cellular contexts and its interactions with other pathway components. The generation of Wnt8b recombinant proteins has paved the way for investigating the structure-function relationship and exploring pharmacological agents that can modulate its activity, making it a focal point in developmental biology and therapeutic research.
