简介
SAA4 Protein, a notable acute phase reactant, plays a pivotal role in responding to physiological challenges. As a crucial apolipoprotein within the HDL complex, SAA4 regulates lipid metabolism and is integral to high-density lipoprotein dynamics. Elevated during acute phase responses, SAA4 underscores its significance in the adaptive mechanisms to diverse stressors. SAA4 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived SAA4 protein, expressed by E. coli , with C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SAA4, or serum amyloid A4, is a protein that plays a significant role in the body's acute inflammatory response and has been implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and amyloidosis. The SAA4 gene is part of the serum amyloid A family, which is primarily produced by the liver in response to inflammatory stimuli such as infection or tissue injury. Research on SAA4 has gained attention due to its potential as a biomarker for inflammatory diseases and its involvement in the development of atherosclerosis. As a key player in the inflammation process, SAA4 orchestrates the recruitment of immune cells and contributes to the modulation of lipid metabolism. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of SAA4, particularly its role in the formation of amyloid deposits that can lead to organ dysfunction. The recombinant production of SAA4 protein allows researchers to delve deeper into its functional properties and interactions, enabling the exploration of therapeutic interventions and diagnostic tools. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which SAA4 participates in inflammation and amyloidogenesis is critical for developing strategies aimed at mitigating its pathological effects, thereby advancing the field of inflammatory disease research. Continued investigation into SAA4 will not only enhance our comprehension of its biological significance but also support the identification of novel therapeutic targets for conditions linked to chronic inflammation and amyloid-related disorders.
