简介
PTX3 Protein, pivotal in innate pathogen resistance and inflammation regulation, may contribute to self-component clearance and female fertility. As a homooctamer with disulfide-linked structures, PTX3's multifaceted nature maintains immune homeostasis.Interaction with C1q underscores its significance in innate immune responses, positioning PTX3 as a key player in pathogen defense and inflammatory modulation.PTX3 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived PTX3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTX3 (Pentraxin 3) is an acute-phase protein and a key component of the innate immune response, playing a crucial role in inflammation and tissue repair. Its expression is induced by pro-inflammatory cytokines, and it serves as a pattern recognition receptor, facilitating the clearance of pathogens and apoptotic cells. Research into PTX3 has gained momentum due to its potential as a biomarker for various diseases, including cardiovascular conditions, autoimmune disorders, and infections. Additionally, the recombinant form of PTX3 has attracted interest for its therapeutic applications, such as in modulating immune responses and promoting tissue regeneration. Studies suggest that PTX3 may possess anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic properties, underscoring its importance in maintaining homeostasis during pathological conditions. Investigating the structure, function, and therapeutic potential of recombinant PTX3 is essential for understanding its role in disease mechanisms and exploring innovative treatments that leverage its immunomodulatory effects. Progress in generating recombinant PTX3 through biotechnological methods has opened new avenues for research and clinical applications, making it a promising candidate for developing novel therapeutic strategies in the fight against various inflammatory and degenerative diseases.
