  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The CPA3 protein, a member of the carboxypeptidase A family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its role in various physiological and pathological processes. Primarily expressed in mast cells, CPA3 is known for its distinctive enzymatic activity, which facilitates the cleavage of C-terminal amino acids from peptide and protein substrates. Research has indicated that CPA3 plays a critical role in modulating immune responses, particularly in allergic reactions and asthma, where mast cells are activated and release various mediators. Additionally, CPA3 is implicated in inflammatory conditions and has been associated with certain cancers, suggesting that it may serve as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target. The protein's unique structural features, including its zymogen form and active site, have prompted studies to fully elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms and regulation. By employing advanced techniques such as crystallography and molecular modeling, researchers aim to better understand CPA3's function at the molecular level, paving the way for innovative therapeutic interventions. As the field of proteomics expands, the exploration of CPA3 continues to reveal its multifaceted roles in health and disease, highlighting its importance in biomedical research and potential clinical applications. Overall, the ongoing investigation into CPA3 is not only enriching our understanding of mast cell biology but also opening new avenues for treatment strategies targeting allergic and inflammatory disorders.
