简介
Semaphorin-3A/SEMA3A Protein guides growth cones and is implicated in sensory projection patterning, selectively repelling axons that terminate dorsally. It contributes to olfactory system development and neuronal control of puberty.SEMA3A interacts with PXND1, although the exact nature of this interaction is unspecified.Semaphorin-3A/SEMA3A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Semaphorin-3A/SEMA3A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with N-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Semaphorin-3A (SEMA3A) is a member of the semaphorin family of proteins, which play critical roles in cell signaling, particularly in the nervous system. Initially identified for its function in guiding neuronal axons during development, SEMA3A has been found to play diverse roles in various biological processes, including angiogenesis, immune response, and tumor progression. Research has shown that SEMA3A interacts with neuropilin and plexin receptors, initiating intracellular signaling pathways that can influence cell migration, survival, and differentiation. Its dynamic expression in different tissues highlights its potential as both a developmental regulator and a therapeutic target for various diseases. In cancer, altered SEMA3A signaling may contribute to tumor growth and metastasis; therefore, understanding its mechanism can offer insights into new strategies for cancer treatment. The study of recombinant SEMA3A protein is crucial for elucidating its biological functions and therapeutic applications, enabling researchers to dissect its roles in cell signaling and explore its potential in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. The recombinant protein is used in various assays to assess its effects on cell behavior, providing a valuable tool for investigating the molecular basis of SEMA3A's actions in both physiological and pathological processes. Overall, ongoing research into SEMA3A and its recombinant forms holds promise for advancing our understanding of neurodevelopmental and cancer biology.
