Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAK4 (p21-activated kinase 4) is a member of the p21-activated kinase family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell proliferation, and survival. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several cancers, making it a critical target for therapeutic intervention. The study of PAK4, particularly its recombinant protein, is essential for understanding its molecular mechanisms and interactions within signaling pathways. Researchers have focused on characterizing the structure and function of PAK4 to elucidate how it contributes to tumorigenesis and to explore its potential as a drug target. Recombinant PAK4 protein allows for in vitro studies that provide insights into its enzymatic activity, protein-protein interactions, and regulatory mechanisms. By producing this protein in a controlled laboratory environment, scientists can investigate specific mutations associated with cancer and test potential inhibitors. Furthermore, this research may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at diseases where PAK4 plays a vital role, thus highlighting the importance of PAK4 recombinant protein in cancer biology and drug discovery. Understanding PAK4's function and regulation can also contribute to advancing precision medicine, where treatments are tailored based on specific molecular targets.
