简介
The VEGFR-1 protein is a tyrosine protein kinase that acts as a cell surface receptor for VEGFA, VEGFB, and PGF. It plays a crucial role in embryonic vasculature development, regulation of angiogenesis, cell survival, migration, macrophage function, chemotaxis, and cancer cell invasion. VEGFR-1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived VEGFR-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His, C-Avi labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 1 (VEGFR-1) is a key member of the VEGF receptor family, playing a crucial role in angiogenesis and vascular permeability. The receptor primarily binds VEGF-A, but also interacts with other members of the VEGF family, influencing endothelial cell survival, migration, and proliferation. Dysregulation of VEGFR-1 signaling has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including cancer, diabetic retinopathy, and cardiovascular diseases. Given its pivotal role in tumor microenvironments and immune responses, VEGFR-1 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target, prompting extensive research into its structural and functional characteristics. The recombinant expression of VEGFR-1 protein facilitates detailed studies of its signaling pathways and interactions, providing critical insights into its biological functions. Additionally, generating high-purity recombinant VEGFR-1 allows for the development of novel angiogenesis inhibitors and biomarkers for diseases associated with abnormal vascular growth. The continued study of VEGFR-1 will not only enhance our understanding of vascular biology but also pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies in treating diseases where angiogenesis is a key factor.
