  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CD30 Ligand, also known as TNFSF8 (Tumor Necrosis Factor Superfamily member 8), is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily that plays a crucial role in immune system regulation. It is predominantly expressed on activated T cells and is involved in various immunological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. The interaction between CD30 Ligand and its receptor, CD30, which is found on several immune cells, is significant for promoting T helper type 2 (Th2) immune responses and activating B cell proliferation. Studies have indicated that dysregulation of the CD30/CD30L axis is associated with various diseases, including lymphomas and autoimmune disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research on recombinant CD30 Ligand/TNFSF8 has aimed to explore its functional mechanisms and therapeutic applications, such as enhancing anti-tumor immunity or modulating inflammatory responses. By producing recombinant forms of this protein, scientists can investigate its biological activities, study its role in immune modulation, and explore its potential use in immunotherapy. Understanding the signaling pathways involved in CD30 Ligand interactions could provide insights into developing novel treatments for immune-related diseases, thereby opening new avenues for therapeutic innovation in oncology and beyond.
