Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Clusterin, also known as ApoJ, is a multifunctional glycoprotein that plays crucial roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including lipid metabolism, inflammation, and apoptosis. Initially identified in the context of cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative disorders, Clusterin has garnered attention due to its involvement in the clearance of cellular debris and amyloidogenesis, particularly in Alzheimer's disease. Research has highlighted its protective role in cellular stress responses, making Clusterin a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The recombinant production of Clusterin/APOJ allows for detailed studies of its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to explore its mechanisms of action in different biological contexts. Understanding the implications of Clusterin in disease processes can lead to novel strategies for diagnosis and treatment, particularly in conditions characterized by protein misfolding and chronic inflammation. Significantly, advancements in recombinant biotechnology have facilitated the large-scale production of this protein, providing a valuable tool for investigating its interactions, signaling pathways, and potential roles in therapeutic interventions. As such, ongoing studies on the functional attributes of Clusterin/APOJ promise to shed light on its therapeutic potential and its significance in a variety of diseases.
