Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK16, or Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 16, is a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family, which plays a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes including cell cycle progression and gene expression. Its distinct features, particularly its involvement in phosphorylating specific substrates and modulating cellular signaling pathways, have garnered significant research interest. Recent studies have suggested that CDK16 is implicated in processes such as neuronal development, cell differentiation, and cancer progression. Understanding the function and regulation of CDK16 is vital, as aberrations in its activity may contribute to various diseases, particularly cancers where cell cycle dysregulation is a hallmark. Researchers have focused on producing recombinant CDK16 to facilitate detailed biochemical analyses and functional studies. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, CDK16 can be expressed in host systems, allowing for the examination of its structural and functional properties. This line of research aims to elucidate the mechanistic roles of CDK16 in different cellular contexts, providing insights that may lead to the identification of novel therapeutic strategies targeting CDK16-related pathways in diseases. The development of CDK16 recombinant proteins also holds potential for high-throughput screening assays, further highlighting its importance in both fundamental biology and potential clinical applications.
