简介
PCTAIRE1 protein is a multifunctional kinase that plays a key role in vesicle-mediated transport and regulation of GH1 release, emphasizing neuroendocrine function. Its involvement includes NSF phosphorylation, influencing vesicle dynamics, and important contributions to spermatogenesis and reproductive processes. CDK16-CCNY Protein, Human (sf9, GST, Flag) is the recombinant human-derived CDK16-CCNY, expressed by Sf9 insect cells, with N-GST, N-Flag labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDK16 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 16), a member of the cyclin-dependent kinase family, plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, transcription, and RNA splicing. Its activity is modulated through interaction with cyclins and other regulatory proteins. The co-factor CCNY (Cyclin Y) is known to enhance the kinase activity of CDK16, thereby influencing cellular signaling pathways and processes, particularly in neuronal and cancerous cells. Research has indicated that the CDK16-CCNY complex may be implicated in oncogenesis and tumor progression due to its involvement in regulating cell proliferation and migration. Understanding the structural and functional dynamics of the CDK16-CCNY complex is essential for elucidating its role in disease mechanisms, particularly in cancer. Investigating the biochemistry and biology of CDK16 and its interactions with CCNY can reveal potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. As such, the generation and study of recombinant CDK16-CCNY proteins are crucial for examining their functional properties, regulatory mechanisms, and the potential impact of their dysregulation in various pathophysiological contexts.
