简介
RSK2 is a kinase downstream of ERK signaling and plays a critical role in mediating mitosis and stress responses. It activates transcription factors (CREB1, ETV1, NR4A1), affecting proliferation, survival and differentiation. RSK2 Protein, Human is the recombinant human-derived RSK2 protein, expressed by E. coli , with tag free.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RSK2 (Ribosomal S6 Kinase 2) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, survival, and proliferation. It is part of the broader RSK family, which acts as a mediator in signaling pathways, particularly those involving the ERK (extracellular signal-regulated kinase) cascade. RSK2 has garnered attention due to its implications in human health, particularly its role in cancer and developmental disorders. Mutations in the RSK2 gene are associated with Birk Barel syndrome, characterized by cognitive impairment and other developmental delays. Research on RSK2 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the functional mechanisms of this kinase and its interactions with other cellular components. By producing RSK2 in recombinant form, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity, regulatory mechanisms, and potential as a therapeutic target. This research not only contributes to a better understanding of the underlying biology of various diseases but also holds potential for the development of novel therapeutic strategies that could mitigate the effects of RSK2-related pathologies. Furthermore, studying the structure and function of RSK2 can facilitate the identification of compounds that selectively modulate its activity, offering new avenues for drug discovery and precision medicine. Overall, RSK2 recombinant protein research represents a pivotal area of study in molecular biology, with significant implications for both basic science and clinical applications.
