Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSTT2B (Glutathione S-Transferase Theta 2B) is a member of the glutathione S-transferase (GST) family, which plays a crucial role in detoxification processes by catalyzing the conjugation of glutathione to various substrates, including xenobiotics and endogenous compounds. Research into GSTT2B has gained importance due to its potential implications in drug metabolism, cancer biology, and resistance to chemotherapy. Variations in GSTT2B expression and activity can influence individual susceptibility to toxic compounds and the efficacy of therapeutic agents, making it a significant focus in pharmacogenomics. Additionally, GSTs, including GSTT2B, have been implicated in the modulation of inflammatory responses and oxidative stress, which are key factors in numerous diseases. Recent studies have aimed to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of GSTT2B, exploring its role in cellular signaling pathways and its potential as a biomarker for disease prognosis. Understanding GSTT2B's mechanisms can provide insights into developing targeted therapies and personalized medicine approaches, addressing the challenges posed by drug resistance and toxicity in clinical settings.
