  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HRG (Histidine-Rich Glycoprotein) and HPRG (Heparin-Binding Protein) are naturally occurring proteins with significant roles in various biological processes, including immune response, wound healing, and regulation of blood coagulation. The study of HRG and HPRG has gained traction due to their potential therapeutic applications and involvement in pathological conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and inflammatory disorders. Research indicates that HRG, being a multifunctional plasma protein, can modulate immune cell activities and has been linked to both pro- and anti-inflammatory effects depending on the context. Its ability to bind to heparin and other glycosaminoglycans suggests a role in cellular signaling and tissue remodeling. HPRG, on the other hand, is known for its interactions with various extracellular matrix components and its contribution to angiogenesis, making it a focal point in cancer research. The recombination and characterization of HRG and HPRG proteins have enabled scientists to better understand their structure-function relationships, leading to the development of novel therapeutic agents. Ongoing studies aim to evaluate the clinical relevance of these proteins, explore their mechanisms of action, and assess their utility as biomarkers for disease progression and therapeutic response. This growing body of research underscores the importance of HRG and HPRG in the realm of biotechnology and medicine, seeking to harness their properties for innovative treatment strategies.
