简介
IFN-β protein is a recombinant protein that does not use any animal-derived components in its production. It is used in biomedical research and drug manufacturing as a therapeutic agent for a variety of diseases, including multiple sclerosis. ficolin 1/FCN1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived ficolin 1/FCN1 protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ficolin-1, also known as FCN1, is a collagen-like lectin primarily involved in the innate immune response. It plays a crucial role in the recognition and clearance of pathogens through its ability to bind to specific carbohydrates on the surface of bacteria and viruses. This binding not only facilitates opsonization but also activates the complement system, which enhances the immune response. Research into recombinant ficolin-1 has gained significance due to its potential applications in diagnosing and treating infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and inflammatory conditions. Recombinant expression systems allow for the production of ficolin-1 in a controlled environment, enabling detailed studies on its structure-function relationships and enabling the exploration of its therapeutic potential. Understanding the functional mechanisms of ficolin-1 can also provide insights into the modulation of immune responses, offering new strategies for immunotherapy. As ongoing studies focus on the development of ficolin-1 as a biomarker for various diseases and its role in host defense, recombinant ficolin-1 emerges as a promising candidate for further research and clinical applications, paving the way for novel therapeutic approaches in immunology and infectious disease management.
