稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD98 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including amino acid transport, cell adhesion, and signaling. Its expression is widely observed in many tissues and cell types, signifying its involvement in essential physiological functions. CD98 consists of two main subunits: the heavy chain (also known as CD98hc) which is responsible for its amino acid transport activity, and the light chain that can be associated with different integrin partners, influencing cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. Dysregulation of CD98 has been implicated in several pathological conditions, including cancer, autoimmune diseases, and metabolic disorders. Research into recombinant CD98 proteins has garnered attention as a tool to better understand its function and regulatory mechanisms. By producing CD98 in a recombinant form, researchers aim to elucidate its role in amino acid transport and its contribution to disease processes. Furthermore, recombinant CD98 can be utilized to investigate potential therapeutic applications, including the development of targeted treatments for malignancies where CD98 is overexpressed. This line of research is critical for the development of more effective interventions that can modulate CD98 activity and, consequently, its effects on cell behavior. Overall, the study of recombinant CD98 proteins presents significant opportunities for advancing our understanding of cellular metabolism and its implications in health and disease.
