简介
The elastase IIIB/CELA3B protein exhibits remarkable efficiency as a protease, showing a clear preference for alanine specificity while exhibiting limited elastolytic activity. This unique zymogram makes this protein a promising candidate for precise substrate cleavage, especially when processing alanine-rich substrates. Elastase IIIB/CELA3B Protein, Mouse (Myc, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived Elastase IIIB/CELA3B protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His, C-Myc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Elastase IIIB, also known as CELA3B, is a member of the serine protease family and is primarily involved in the degradation of extracellular matrix components, particularly elastin. This enzyme is produced predominantly in the pancreas and is associated with various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue remodeling, inflammation, and immune responses. Studies have indicated that CELA3B plays a role in chronic diseases such as emphysema and acute pancreatitis, where its activity can influence the extent of tissue damage and inflammatory responses. The recombinant production of Elastase IIIB/CELA3B has become an area of interest, enabling researchers to investigate its structural properties and functional mechanisms in detail. By expressing this enzyme in suitable host systems, scientists can produce sufficient quantities for biochemical assays and structural studies, facilitating a better understanding of its substrate specificity and potential therapeutic roles. Furthermore, the development of CELA3B as a research tool may pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases linked to aberrant elastolytic activity. Overall, the study of recombinant elastase IIIB/CELA3B holds promise for advancing our knowledge of both fundamental enzymatic processes and their implications in disease pathology.
