简介
INPP1 protein, also known as inositol polyphosphate-1-phosphatase, is a phosphatase that plays a crucial role in inositol phosphate metabolism. The activity of this protein depends on magnesium ions and is responsible for catalyzing the hydrolysis of the phosphate group at position 1 of inositol 1,4-bisphosphate and inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate. INPP1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived INPP1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INPP1, or inositol polyphosphate-1-phosphatase, is an important enzyme involved in the phosphoinositide signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes such as signal transduction, cell proliferation, and differentiation. It is known to hydrolyze inositol polyphosphates, particularly inositol 1,4-bisphosphate, and inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate, thereby regulating intracellular calcium levels and contributing to the modulation of various cellular activities. Research on INPP1 has gained attention due to its potential implications in health and disease, including cancer, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. Recombinant INPP1 protein, produced through advanced protein expression techniques, provides a valuable tool for studying its biochemical properties and cellular functions. The recombinant form allows for a more detailed analysis of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms under various physiological conditions. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of INPP1 can lead to the identification of novel therapeutic targets and strategies for diseases associated with dysregulation of inositol signaling pathways. Overall, the study of recombinant INPP1 not only enhances our comprehension of its physiological roles but also offers promising avenues for the development of intervention strategies in related pathological conditions.
