简介
VEGF165 Protein is a subtype of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor A (VEGF-A). VEGF-A is a key member of the VEGF family of cytokines that can promote neovascularization and increase vascular permeability. VEGF165 Protein, Human (HEK293, Strep, His) is the recombinant human-derived VEGF165, expressed by HEK293, with Strep, His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a key signaling protein that primarily regulates angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones. Among its isoforms, VEGF165 is the most abundant and biologically active variant, playing a critical role in both normal physiological processes and various pathological conditions, such as cancer, diabetes, and eye diseases like age-related macular degeneration. The study of VEGF165 recombinant protein has gained significant attention due to its potential applications in therapeutic interventions and regenerative medicine. Understanding the structure and function of VEGF165 can facilitate the development of VEGF inhibitors for anti-cancer strategies or VEGF-based therapies to promote tissue regeneration and repair. Moreover, investigations into VEGF165's interactions with its receptors offer insights into the underlying molecular mechanisms of angiogenesis and vascular permeability. The recombinant production of VEGF165 allows for the exploration of its effects in controlled experimental settings, paving the way for innovative treatment modalities targeting VEGF-mediated pathways. As such, ongoing research into VEGF165 holds promise for advancing our knowledge of vascular biology and enhancing therapeutic options for diseases characterized by abnormal angiogenesis.
