简介
SECTM1A Protein is a protein that encoded by SECTM1A gene. SECTM1A can bind to GITR on the surface of macrophages and activate the PI3K–Akt pathway, thereby enhancing the phagocytosis and bactericidal ability of macrophages SECTM1A can inhibit NF-κB signaling by activating the LXRα pathway, therby suppressing the inflammatory response. SECTM1A can positively regulate local proliferation of TRMs in the context of acute inflammation. SECTM1A Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived SECTM1A protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SECTM1A, a member of the SECTM family, has garnered significant attention in recent research due to its potential role in immune modulation and cellular signaling. This transmembrane protein is characterized by its unique structure, which includes a large extracellular domain and a short cytoplasmic tail. Initial studies indicated that SECTM1A may play a crucial role in immune responses, particularly in the regulation of T cell activation and proliferation. Moreover, its expression patterns in various tissues suggest it could be involved in both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and cancer. Researchers are increasingly focusing on the functional implications of SECTM1A, examining its interactions with other receptors and signaling molecules that mediate immune responses. The generation of recombinant SECTM1A protein has enabled detailed studies of its properties and activities, allowing for insights into its mechanism of action. Understanding the role of SECTM1A could pave the way for the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies and biomarkers for disease diagnosis and prognosis. As such, ongoing efforts aim to elucidate the precise functions of SECTM1A, further emphasizing its relevance in both basic research and clinical applications.
