简介
The Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG protein, an enzyme, hydrolyzes phosphate compounds, breaking down various molecules. It acts as an alkaline phosphatase, cleaving phosphate esters and rendering molecules inactive. This versatile enzyme is vital in processes like bone mineralization, cellular signaling, and metabolism. Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG Protein, Human (Biotinylated, HEK293, His-Avi) is the recombinant human-derived Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Avi, C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is a crucial enzyme involved in various biological processes, including bone mineralization, placental development, and the dephosphorylation of molecules in metabolic pathways. The ALPG isoform, specifically, is associated with osteogenic activity and has garnered significant interest in biomedical research, particularly concerning its roles in skeletal health and disease. Studies have shown that alterations in ALPG expression can be linked to conditions such as osteomalacia and osteoporosis, making it a potential biomarker for bone-related disorders. The recombinant production of ALPG provides a valuable tool for elucidating its functions, interactions, and therapeutic potentials. By expressing ALPG in heterologous systems, researchers can produce large quantities of this protein for structural and functional studies, enabling insights into its catalytic mechanisms and regulatory roles. Furthermore, recombinant ALPG can be applied in drug development and regenerative medicine, particularly in strategies aimed at enhancing bone healing and regeneration. Understanding the nuances of ALPG's activity may lead to novel therapeutic interventions for metabolic bone diseases, thereby addressing a significant public health concern. Overall, the study of ALPG recombinant protein holds promise for advancing knowledge in both basic and applied biomedical sciences.
