Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAMK1 (Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent Protein Kinase 1) and its isoform CAMK1 alpha play essential roles in various cellular processes, including calcium signaling, cell proliferation, and differentiation. These kinases are part of the CAMK family, which is known to regulate a wide range of physiological functions through the phosphorylation of target proteins in response to calcium and calmodulin binding. The study of recombinant CAMK1 alpha/CAMK1 proteins is crucial for understanding their structure-function relationships and regulatory mechanisms. Research has revealed that CAMK1 alpha is involved in critical pathways impacting neuronal function, cardiac health, and immune responses. Moreover, aberrations in CAMK1 signaling have been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. By utilizing recombinant technology, researchers can produce purified CAMK1 protein for in vitro studies, enabling the investigation of its enzymatic activity, interaction with substrates, and modulation by other signaling molecules. This research has significant implications for drug development and therapeutic interventions targeting CAMK1-related pathways. Therefore, exploring the properties and functions of CAMK1 alpha/CAMK1 recombinant proteins contributes to a deeper understanding of their biological roles and potential as therapeutic targets in human diseases.
