简介
BSP2 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is a recombinant mouse bone sialoprotein 2 produced in HEK293 cells. Bone Sialoprotein 2, one of the major bone matrix proteins, with its previously known role in osseous tissue degradation, has been recently proven to play a role in the nucleation of hydroxyl apatite during osseous tissue mineralization[1].

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BSP2, a member of the bone sialoprotein (BSP) family, is an important extracellular matrix protein primarily involved in the development and mineralization of bone tissue. Its role in fostering osteoblast differentiation and regulating mineral deposition makes it a crucial target for research, particularly in the context of bone-related diseases such as osteoporosis and dental disorders. The study of BSP2 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention as they provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying bone formation and regeneration. By leveraging genetic engineering techniques, researchers can produce BSP2 in various systems, enabling the exploration of its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the structure-function relationship of BSP2 not only aids in elucidating its role in skeletal biology but also paves the way for developing biomaterials and tissue engineering strategies aimed at enhancing bone repair and regeneration. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have allowed for improved yield and function of BSP2, fostering further studies into its interactions with other biomolecules and cells in the bone microenvironment. Overall, BSP2 recombinant protein research holds promise for novel therapeutic approaches in addressing bone-related pathologies and enhancing our understanding of bone biology.
