  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

Annexin A2 (ANXA2) is a multifunctional protein that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. As a member of the annexin family, ANXA2 is known for its calcium-dependent binding to phospholipids, which is instrumental in cellular responses to environmental stress and injury. Its involvement in pathological conditions, such as cancer, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases, has necessitated extensive research into its biological functions and mechanisms. Recombinant ANXA2 proteins have been developed to facilitate studies on protein interactions and functional assays, providing insights into how ANXA2 contributes to cellular dynamics under normal and pathological conditions. The generation of these recombinant proteins allows researchers to explore the structural and functional attributes of ANXA2 in vitro and in vivo, leading to a better understanding of its role in disease processes. Furthermore, the potential therapeutic applications of targeting ANXA2 in treating various conditions highlight the importance of continued research in this area. Overall, the study of recombinant ANXA2 proteins represents a significant advancement in elucidating the complexities of cellular functions and the potential for novel therapeutic strategies.
