  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TEAD2 (TEA Domain Transcription Factor 2) is a member of the TEAD family of transcription factors, which play crucial roles in regulating gene expression in various biological processes, including development, cellular proliferation, and differentiation. TEAD2 primarily functions in conjunction with the Hippo signaling pathway, a key regulator of organ size and tissue growth. Dysregulation of TEAD2 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where its interaction with the YAP/TAZ proteins can promote oncogenic transcription. The study of TEAD2 recombinant protein is significant as it allows researchers to investigate its structural properties, functional mechanisms, and interactions with other proteins in a controlled environment. Through the generation and characterization of TEAD2 recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its role in transcriptional regulation and its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, understanding the precise molecular interactions involving TEAD2 can provide insights into the development of novel interventions for diseases characterized by aberrant Hippo pathway signaling. With advancements in recombinant protein technology, studies focusing on TEAD2 are expected to contribute to a deeper understanding of its biological functions and its relevance in pathophysiological contexts.
