  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NONO, a member of the non-POU domain containing octamer-binding protein family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, transcription regulation, and stress response. Its involvement in the regulation of gene expression and splicing mechanisms has garnered significant attention in the field of molecular biology. Recent studies have highlighted NONO's dual functions in both nuclear processes and the cytoplasmic response to stress, indicating its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, NONO has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where its dysregulation can contribute to pathogenesis. Research focusing on the structure and dynamics of NONO, particularly its protein-protein interactions and post-translational modifications, is vital for understanding its diverse functions. Emerging evidence suggests that NONO may serve as a potential therapeutic target, making it imperative to deepen our understanding of its biochemical properties and the impact of its restructured forms in various biological contexts.
