Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DLK-1, or Delta-like 1 homolog, is a protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. It is mainly recognized for its involvement in developmental biology and its significance in the nervous system, particularly in neurogenesis. Research has shown that DLK-1 is necessary for the proper development and function of neuronal cells, as it regulates critical signaling pathways, such as the Notch and Wnt pathways. Additionally, abnormalities in DLK-1 expression have been linked to several neurodegenerative diseases and cancers, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. Given its essential functions, DLK-1 recombinant protein has emerged as a valuable tool in studies aimed at unraveling its mechanisms and interactions within cellular environments. The production of DLK-1 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to investigate its structural properties, functional roles, and potential in regenerative medicine. As such, the study of DLK-1 remains a promising avenue for understanding complex biological phenomena and developing innovative therapeutic strategies.
