Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MAGEA8 (Melanoma Antigen Gene A8) is a member of the MAGE (Melanoma Antigen Gene) family that is primarily expressed in melanomas and several other tumor types, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy. The gene is located on the X chromosome and is known for its role in immune evasion, where it modulates immune responses to tumors. Research has highlighted the importance of MAGEA8 as a tumor-associated antigen, which can be recognized by T cells, suggesting its potential utility in vaccine development and adoptive T cell therapies. Moreover, MAGEA8 has been implicated in various cancer biological processes, including cell proliferation and survival. The recombinant expression of MAGEA8 in a laboratory setting allows for detailed studies into its structural properties, immunogenicity, and interactions with immune cells. This can provide insights into designing targeted therapies that harness the body’s immune system to combat tumors expressing MAGEA8. Overall, the continued exploration of MAGEA8 as a biomarker and therapeutic target is pivotal in advancing personalized cancer treatments and improving clinical outcomes for patients with malignancies expressing this antigen.
