  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

LRP-11, or Lipoprotein Receptor-related Protein 11, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Originally identified as a member of the low-density lipoprotein receptor family, LRP-11 is implicated in various biological functions, including lipoprotein metabolism, cell signaling, and neuronal development. Its unique structural features suggest that it may play an important role in the endocytic pathway, influencing the uptake and trafficking of various ligands. Recent studies have also linked LRP-11 to pathological conditions, such as cancer progression and neurodegenerative diseases, raising questions about its functional significance in both health and disease. Furthermore, the development of recombinant LRP-11 proteins has enabled researchers to investigate its biochemical properties and interactions in detail. These studies are crucial for understanding how LRP-11 might serve as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target. Given its emerging importance, ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise mechanisms by which LRP-11 contributes to cellular homeostasis and its implications in various disease states, ultimately paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
