简介
In its secreted form, the FSTL3 protein acts as a binder and antagonist to TGF-β family members, inhibiting cell signaling induced by activin A, activin B, BMP2, and MSTN. It plays a role in bone formation, inhibition of osteoclast differentiation, hematopoiesis, and enhanced hematopoietic progenitor cell adhesion. FSTL3 Protein, Mouse (HEK293, His) is the recombinant mouse-derived FSTL3 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Biological Activity
1.Immobilized Human Activin A, No Tag at 0.2 μg/mL (100 μl/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for Mouse FSTL3, His Tag with the EC50 of >20.1 ng/mL determined by ELISA. 2.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized mouse FLRG-His at 10 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind biotinylated mouse INHBA, the ED50 for this effect is 21.37 ng/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FSTL3 (Follistatin-like 3) is a secreted glycoprotein belonging to the follistatin family, known for its role in modulating various biological processes, including inflammation, tissue repair, and metabolic regulation. Increased interest in FSTL3 has emerged due to its involvement in several pathophysiological conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases. Research indicates that FSTL3 may play a protective role against the progression of these diseases by influencing insulin sensitivity and inflammatory responses. Consequently, the recombinant production of FSTL3 protein has gained momentum, allowing for in-depth studies of its biological functions and potential therapeutic applications. Recombinant forms facilitate the investigation of FSTL3's mechanism of action, as well as its role in cellular signaling pathways and interactions with other proteins. The ability to produce FSTL3 in sufficient quantities also paves the way for drug development and biomarker discovery, with implications for improving patient outcomes in metabolic and inflammatory diseases. Overall, the exploration of FSTL3 as a recombinant protein is essential for understanding its roles in health and disease, and it holds promise for innovations in clinical treatments.
