Gene name
GAP43

简介
The GAP43 protein plays a central role in nerve growth and is found primarily in the active "growth cones" at the tips of axons. It induces axonal and dendritic filopodia, which are critical for neurodevelopmental dynamics. GAP43 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived GAP43 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DAP10 is a protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system, specifically in the activation and function of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8^+ T-cells. It is an adaptor protein associated with various receptors, including activating receptors on NK cells, which are essential for recognizing and eliminating infected or cancerous cells. Research into DAP10 has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune diseases. By understanding the signaling mechanisms involving DAP10, scientists aim to enhance the efficacy of immunotherapies that leverage the body's own immune system to combat tumors. Additionally, studies have shown that DAP10 interacts with multiple immune receptors, suggesting that it could serve as a critical node in immune signaling pathways. As such, the recombinant production of DAP10 is vital for detailed biochemical and structural studies that aim to elucidate its functional mechanisms. This knowledge could lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting DAP10-related pathways to improve immune responses in various clinical contexts, including enhancing anti-tumor immunity or modulating autoimmune activities. Overall, DAP10 represents a significant area of interest in immunology and therapeutic development, warranting further investigation into its biological roles and applications.
