稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-18R alpha, a critical component of the interleukin-18 receptor complex, plays an essential role in the immune response and inflammation regulation. As a receptor for the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-18, IL-18R alpha is pivotal in mediating various immune functions, including the activation of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, which are crucial for host defense against pathogens and tumors. Aberrant expression or signaling of IL-18R alpha has been associated with several diseases, including autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammatory conditions, and cancer. Studies have indicated that targeting the IL-18 signaling pathway may provide therapeutic benefits in these contexts. The production of recombinant IL-18R alpha protein has garnered considerable interest in both basic and clinical research, as it aids in understanding receptor function, exploring its role in disease mechanisms, and developing potential targeted therapies. Researchers aim to utilize this protein to investigate its interactions with IL-18 and other signaling molecules, and to assess its impact on immune cell function in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, recombinant IL-18R alpha could serve as a valuable tool for drug development, including the creation of monoclonal antibodies or inhibitors that modulate IL-18 signaling, offering promising avenues for therapeutic intervention in various immunological diseases. Such studies highlight the importance of IL-18R alpha in immunology and underscore its potential as a target for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at restoring immune balance and combating disease.
