  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NR3C1, also known as the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), is a member of the nuclear receptor superfamily that plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of glucocorticoids, which are steroid hormones involved in a variety of physiological processes including stress response, immune function, and metabolism. The study of NR3C1 recombinant proteins has gained significance due to their potential applications in understanding hormonal signaling pathways and developing therapeutic interventions for various diseases, including metabolic disorders, autoimmune diseases, and cancers. The NR3C1 gene undergoes complex regulation and can exhibit alternative splicing, leading to different isoforms that may have distinct functions and tissue-specific roles. The recombinant expression of NR3C1 proteins allows researchers to investigate these isoforms' functional characteristics and interactions with other cellular pathways. Furthermore, studying NR3C1 in a recombinant form can aid in the development of drugs that target this receptor, improving treatment strategies for conditions such as Cushing's syndrome and chronic inflammatory diseases. As research progresses, the insights gained from NR3C1 recombinant protein studies are expected to enhance our understanding of glucocorticoid biology and its implications for human health.
