简介
WDHD1 Protein is a core replisome component that serves as a replication initiation factor. It directly binds to the CMG complex, acting as a hub to recruit other proteins to the replication fork. WDHD1 interacts with POLA1, MCM10, DNA2, CDC45, and GINS2, linking it to the CMG helicase complex. WDHD1 Protein, Human (HEK293, FLAG) is the recombinant human-derived WDHD1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-Flag labeled tag.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WDHD1 (WD repeat-containing helicase-like protein 1) is a crucial player in various cellular processes, including DNA replication, repair, and transcriptional regulation. As a member of the helicase family, WDHD1 is characterized by its WD repeats, which are known to mediate protein-protein interactions and contribute to the assembly of multi-protein complexes. Furthermore, its involvement in the regulation of cell cycle progression and response to DNA damage underscores its potential significance in maintaining genomic stability. Aberrations in WDHD1 expression and function have been linked to several diseases, notably cancer, where its dysfunction may lead to impaired DNA repair mechanisms and increased mutagenesis. Given these critical roles, investigating the structural and functional properties of WDHD1 is pivotal for understanding its mechanisms in cellular contexts and its implications in associated pathologies. The recombinant production of WDHD1 is essential for biochemical and structural studies, allowing for a detailed investigation of its interactions and regulatory functions, which may ultimately contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases associated with WDHD1 dysregulation.
