简介
Claudin-9/CLDN9 Protein-VLP, Human (HEK293, His) is recommended for animal immunization, ELISA. It is not recommended for receptor-ligand interaction detection and SPR/BLI assay since there are other irrelevant membrane proteins of the host on the VLP envelope, and the receptor-ligand interaction will have strong background interference. High requirements for chips and experimental protocols are needed for SPR/BLI assays. If VLP control is required, it is recommended HY-P701236. Tags can only be detected under denaturing conditions.

Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Claudin-9 (CLDN9) is a member of the claudin family, integral membrane proteins that are crucial components of tight junctions in epithelial and endothelial cells. These proteins play a vital role in maintaining cell polarity, barrier function, and regulating paracellular transport. Given that CLDN9 is involved in various physiological processes and diseases, including cancer and inflammatory disorders, it has garnered significant interest as a potential therapeutic target. Research has shown that CLDN9 is differentially expressed in various tissues and can influence cell migration and proliferation. In recent years, the use of virus-like particles (VLPs) to deliver recombinant proteins has emerged as a promising strategy in vaccine development and therapeutic applications. VLPs can effectively mimic natural viruses, providing an efficient way to present antigens and elicit robust immune responses without the risk of infection. The development of CLDN9 protein VLPs aims to explore their potential as a novel vaccine or therapeutic modality, leveraging the immunogenic properties of VLPs to drive specific immunity against CLDN9-associated pathological conditions. By investigating the structural and functional attributes of CLDN9 within the context of VLPs, researchers aim to establish a foundational understanding that could lead to innovative treatments for diseases where CLDN9 plays a pivotal role. This research could pave the way for therapeutic interventions that specifically target CLDN9 dynamics, enhancing our ability to combat related diseases effectively.
