简介
The S100A4 protein is a calcium-binding protein involved in angiogenesis, cell differentiation, apoptosis, and autophagy. S100A4 protein interacts with MYH9 to enhance cell motility and invasion. S100A4 also inhibits the pro-apoptotic function of TP53 by reducing its protein levels. S100A4 Protein, Human (C/N-His) is the recombinant human-derived S100A4 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, C-6*His labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100A4, a member of the S100 protein family, is a small calcium-binding protein known for its role in various cellular processes, including cell motility, invasion, and differentiation. It is primarily expressed in inflammatory cells, fibroblasts, and certain types of cancer cells, making it a critical player in the regulation of tumor metastasis and inflammation. Research has shown that S100A4 can influence key signaling pathways, such as the RAGE (Receptor for Advanced Glycation End-products) and NF-κB pathways, contributing to disease progression in conditions like cancer and fibrosis. Consequently, the development of recombinant S100A4 protein has garnered interest for its potential utility in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these pathologies. By producing and characterizing recombinant S100A4, researchers aim to elucidate its functional role, investigate its interactions with other biomolecules, and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant S100A4 can also serve as a useful tool in diagnostic applications, enabling the development of assays to detect its presence in tumor samples and inflammatory conditions. Overall, the study of recombinant S100A4 protein holds promise for advancing our understanding of its biological functions and its implications in health and disease.
