Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) is a crucial cytokine that plays a significant role in the immune response, particularly in promoting macrophage activation and enhancing antigen presentation. The IFN-γ receptor (IFN-γR) is a heterodimer composed of two subunits, IFN-γR1 and IFN-γR2, with IFN-γR2 primarily serving as the binding component that facilitates signal transduction upon IFN-γ engagement. The study of IFN-γR2, especially in the context of recombinant protein production, has garnered attention due to its potential implications in various diseases, including viral infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. By producing IFN-γR2 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its structural and functional properties, explore its role in the signaling pathways activated by IFN-γ, and understand its involvement in immune regulation. Furthermore, recombinant IFN-γR2 can serve as a valuable tool in therapeutic applications, potentially leading to novel treatments that modulate immune responses in various pathological conditions. The knowledge gained from these studies can contribute to the development of strategies aimed at enhancing immune responses in infections or suppressing pathological inflammation in autoimmune diseases. Thus, the investigation of IFN-γR2 recombinant protein holds promise for advancing our understanding of immune mechanisms and developing innovative therapeutic approaches.
