Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Pepsinogen A4 (PGA4) is a crucial digestive enzyme precursor produced in the gastric mucosa, playing a vital role in protein digestion. As an important member of the pepsinogen family, its activation into pepsin occurs in the acidic environment of the stomach, where it helps break down proteins into peptides, thereby facilitating nutrient absorption. Research on recombinant PGA4 has gained attention due to its potential applications in biotechnology, food industry, and medicine. Understanding the structure and function of PGA4 can lead to advancements in enzyme engineering, enhancing its efficacy and specificity for various industrial processes. Moreover, the study of PGA4 may provide insights into digestive disorders and the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Recombinant protein expression techniques allow for the production of PGA4 in controlled environments, ensuring higher yield and activity, which is crucial for both research and industrial applications. Overall, the exploration of PGA4 presents significant opportunities for scientific innovation and practical applications, highlighting its importance in biochemistry and health sciences.
