  • 稳定性测试

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

AZGP1, or Alpha-2-glycoprotein 1, zinc-binding (also known as ZAG), is a 41-kDa protein originally identified as a fat mobilization factor. It is primarily produced in adipose tissue and plays a significant role in lipid metabolism, energy homeostasis, and cell proliferation. Research has revealed its potential implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including obesity, cancer, and metabolic disorders. The protein exhibits a unique property as it can bind zinc, which enhances its stability and functional interactions with other molecular partners. Due to its involvement in regulating adipocyte differentiation and its association with cancer cachexia, AZGP1 has garnered attention as a potential biomarker for weight loss and metabolic changes in cancer patients. Recombinant AZGP1 protein is being studied for its structure-function relationship, therapeutic potential, and role in innate immune response. By producing AZGP1 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to explore its mechanisms of action, create novel diagnostic tools, and pave the way for targeted therapies. This research holds promise for advancing our understanding of metabolic diseases and developing interventions for conditions where AZGP1 is dysregulated.
