简介
The LRP-10 protein is a possible receptor that may mediate internalization and/or signaling of lipophilic molecules. It is speculated that LRP-10 can promote the uptake of lipoprotein APOE in the liver and may play a role in lipid metabolism and processes related to lipoprotein transport.LRP-10 Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived LRP-10 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag.

稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LRP-10, or Lipid Raft Protein 10, is an intriguing protein that has garnered attention in molecular biology and biochemistry due to its potential role in cellular signaling and membrane dynamics. Research has identified LRP-10 as a component of lipid rafts—microdomains in the plasma membrane that facilitate various cellular functions, including signal transduction, protein sorting, and pathogen entry. The protein's involvement in these processes suggests that it may play a crucial role in regulating the activity of key signaling pathways, thus influencing cell behavior, growth, and differentiation. Additionally, LRP-10 has been implicated in immune responses and the pathogenesis of certain diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Given the significance of lipid rafts in various biological systems, researchers are actively investigating the biochemical properties of recombinant LRP-10 to better understand its structure-function relationship and its interactions with other cellular components. By exploring the mechanisms underlying LRP-10's function, scientists hope to uncover new therapeutic targets and strategies for modulating cell signaling in health and disease. The study of recombinant LRP-10 not only enhances our fundamental knowledge of cellular processes but also holds promise for advancing clinical applications in regenerative medicine and targeted therapies.
